Stalwart helm chart

This is to deploy stalwart, a mail server stack. This is an experimental chart, as stalwart is just not ready for production docker usage in their current form. They have minimal support for configuration via either their environment variables or their configuration file. Most things are expected to be done via their web UI or interactive CLI setup script according to their documentation. Their docs are also heavily LLM generated and don't make for a good user experience, so at this time, we're not going to move forward with this chart.

We've loosely based this on the docs here: https://stalw.art/docs/cluster/orchestration/kubernetes/

This repo officially lives at: https://git.open.engineering/oeng/stalwart-chart

This repo is also mirrored to: https://codeberg.org/open-engineering/stalwart-chart

You can open future Issues and PRs on Codeberg if you're not a member of the git.open.engineering foregjo instance.

TLDR

See the README.md for docs auto-generated from the values.yaml.

Read through the parameters and modify them locally before installing the chart.

Codeberg

# add the helm repo locally
helm repo add codeberg.org https://codeberg.org/api/packages/open-engineering/helm
helm repo update

# downloads the values.yaml locally
helm show values codeberg.org/stalwart > values.yaml

# You should then edit the values.yaml to your liking.

# install the chart
helm install stalwart codeberg.org/stalwart --values values.yaml

Open Engineering

# add the helm repo locally
helm repo add git.open.engineering https://git.open.engineering/api/packages/oeng/helm
